Preparing for a Holter for Children
- On the day of device installation, it is advisable for the child to wear comfortable clothing (T-shirt, button-down shirt).
- It is advisable to take a shower the day before the study, as bathing is not allowed during monitoring.
- If the child is taking medication, you should inform the doctor and continue taking it as prescribed, unless otherwise instructed.
Contraindications
Holter ECG in children is a safe method and has no absolute contraindications. Relative limitations may include:
